Acolytes benefit by attaining a deeper understanding of, appreciation for, and participation in the worship. 

This guild provides the clergy with altar servers during worship.  Ages from pre-teen to adult are welcome.  Duties progress from lighting altar candles, to assisting the clergy at the altar during the Eucharist,  to carrying the cross in processions and during the reading of the Gospel, to moving Eucharistic and liturgical instruments to and from the altar during worship, and assisting during other public observances offered by the church.

New members, sixth grade or older, are welcome into the Acolyte Guild at any time.  Contact us for information on training dates and times.
